I'm Frederico Leonardo, a senior web designer and developer with 25+ years on the web. I take on websites that have outgrown their platform or their team: a lot of content, several languages, systems that need to talk to each other. For organizations directly, and for studios that need someone they can trust with the build.

Who I am
I'm Frederico Leonardo, and GOMO Digital is my private practice. I've been building for the web since the late nineties, independently since 2012, from Lisbon. You work directly with me: the person you talk to on the first call is the person who designs and builds your site and answers for it. When a project needs another specialist, I bring in people I trust.
What I'm good at is working out what a project really needs. Most requests describe a symptom. I find the cause, choose the right tools for it and build it properly. I design too: most of my direct clients come without a designer, and the site you're reading is my own work. Some clients have worked with me for more than ten years.

A first conversation, free. If the scope isn't clear yet, a fixed-fee review gives you a written plan and a fixed quote.

Craft CMS, Webflow, Astro, a database, an API. The stack follows the content, the team that will edit it and the languages, and I explain the choice in plain language.

From your designs, or mine if you don't have a designer. I agree the scope and a fixed price before starting, with QA, editor training and a documented handover included.

After launch, I can look after the technical maintenance or reserve time each month for changes and new features. We agree which you need.

Yes. If you have designs, I work from those. If you don't, I design it too. Most of my direct clients come without a designer.
Lisbon, same time zone as London, with good overlap with the US East Coast. I've worked with Portuguese institutions for years, and with companies and agencies in the UK and the rest of Europe. I work in English and Portuguese.
Mostly Craft CMS, Webflow and Astro, and I'm comfortable with whatever a project needs. The recommendation comes after I understand the content and the team.
Projects start at €8k. Smaller one-off fixes are €100 per hour. If the scope needs working out first, a review has a fixed fee of €1500 that comes off the project.
